The calm after the storm
A sneak peek into what’s going down in Waking The Wild Medicine…
“The most intense conflicts, if overcome, leave behind a sense of security and calm that is not easily disturbed”
~ Carl Jung
It has been an INTENSE few days in our 6-month soul work crucible Waking The Wild Medicine…
Shadow has loomed large.
The triggers have been off the charts.
Victim, Persecutor and Rescuer have all showed up to the party.
As much as I expected there to be some BIG feelings in Wild Medicine – after all, this is deep, deep work – at times over the past few days, I wondered if I could hold it all. Which is rare for me (I can hold a LOT)… especially given I’m on the other side of a screen equipped only with my trusty mic.
I can’t hug those who are hurting, I can’t make them a cup of tea, I can’t bring them blankets and soft words.
And yet, today we had the most incredible, honest, loving, sovereign circle… also through screens and mics.
Turns out that the human heart transcends all barriers.
We’ve created…
The calm after the storm.
The kiss and make up.
The acknowledgment and appreciation for fellow travellers, warriors and lovers.
We’ve discovered the worst of us is also the best of us and all of it is welcome and loved.
I’m looking forward to seeing them take this depth of Love and Truth out of circle and into the world… it truly is the Medicine the world needs.
