This week’s show is with Dominic Scaffidi, Dominic’s purpose is to inspire greatness. He is committed to people and organizations being extraordinary and producing extraordinary results.

Dominic has coached executives and senior leaders in a variety of organizations as they take on challenges including new roles, goals, dealing with significant change/transition and new projects.  He helps leaders engage the full potential of their people to achieve unprecedented performance.  His approach is to engage with leaders through intentional conversations that cause them to generate new thinking, create new strategies and produce new actions in areas that are most important.

As President and founder at HR Possibilities Inc., Dominic’s focus is executive coaching, team coaching, and training managers to develop coaching skills.

With over 25 years of business experience as an HR executive, sales manager, entrepreneur, and consultant; Dominic has worked with leading edge global organizations across a variety of industries including consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, software, telecommunications, financial services, retail, public sector and non-profit.

Dominic holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Economics from the University of Toronto.  He has completed several graduate level certifications at the Rotman School of Management (U of T) and at Royal Roads University.  He is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) and holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coach Federation (ICF). In addition to his professional pursuits, Dominic is a past officer and director of The Hunger Project in Canada; a non-profit organization committed to ending hunger globally. He once leveraged his love of running to raise thousands of dollars for The Hunger Project while completing his first marathon. Dominic lives just outside Toronto where he enjoys creating and living a life that he loves with his wife and two children.

In this show, we spoke about how we can be powerful creators of our lives, even and especially in these strange times of change and challenge. We explored some of my own personal examples of creation and then Dominic broke down the laws or principles that he sees were at play. We went into such deep, magical and spiritual realms… it was a really enjoyable, helpful and inspiring episode to create – I really hope you get as much from it as I did.

I’d love to know what YOU think about this week’s show. Let’s carry on the conversation…  please leave a comment below.

What you’ll learn from this episode:

  • That which is created can not create but when we have a sense of ourselves as the powerful creators that we really are we can bring new things into being. More of us exists as pure life force energy – the energy that creates worlds! – than we have here in these bodies and it’s that higher self energy we can align with our human selves and use to create our world.

  • Life will show you Unwanted and Wanted experiences… whichever we focus on will expand. That doesn’t mean we should try to deny that the Unwanted exists but that we can acknowledge it and harness its message to get clear and focused on the Wanted.

  • The aligned perspective of us here in this realm provide us with a sense of what we desire to create – we can create anything – it’s our desire that lets us know what we want to create!

  • We feel a desire for ‘more’ but really it’s a desire through our our limited, focused physical selves for ‘all’, in other words… to be all that we are… infinite, eternal, unlimited life force energy. When we are focused in the direction of our desire it feels good because you are aligned with the perspective of who you really are, it is harmonious!
