Don’t let my appearance deceive you…

I’m undeniably open, bubbly, bouncy, full of joy and laughter, sprinkling rainbows and rose petals wherever I go.

If someone were to think the work we do matches my energy, they’d be in for a real shock.

This is one of the reasons we make extra extra sure that anyone joining any of Waking The Wild’s offerings knows it won’t be all sweetness and light.

And this is why I was delighted to have permission to share this comment from a current WTW Medicine participant Vanessa Broers during a conversation about how it’s been so far compares to expectations.

“I think it’s exactly on par with what my SOUL knew I was signing up for.

it’s also better than I could have ever imagined.

More magical than I could have dreamed.
SO incredibly what my soul was craving but could have never known to look for.

Also deeper and more intense, triggering, confusing and disorienting than I would have guessed…and I would have guessed that it would be REALLY – all those things.

And more rewarding than one could ever describe.

And we’re in month 3.”

If you’ve been feeling the call to a WTW crucible I highly recommend re-reading this line and letting it sink right in, “…more intense, triggering, confusing and disorienting than I would have guessed…”

The work we do is intentionally initiatory and creates entropy in order to alchemise wounds into gold.

It’s really not pretty.

But I suspect your soul, like Vanessa’s, knows that anyway even if your human was deceived by my smile…
