The Stars of the Soul

The Stars of the Soul 🌟
(These are the things that would have been profoundly helpful to have known many years ago - and yet of course, I (re-)discovered them at exactly the right time, soul time…)
With the people destined for a spiritual or magical path, it can be foreseen. Same for creative folk. Same for ones who are meant for a mainstream business path.
Neurodivergence has particular tells.
There’s a way we can know our deepest wound (which tends to be more archetypal - often ancestral - than we often think), and shine a light on the path of healing.
When we begin work with a particular archetype, we can foretell the particular gifts and shadows it will activate and illuminate within us (which is incredibly helpful because we are so adept at hiding such things from ourselves.)
We can see why our transformation had to come in such a shocking, sudden Tower-like, life and death way, that some might call unfair or terrible.
All of these things (and so much more) can be seen in our astrological chart, usually in several different places, in case we need further confirmation.
Astrology is something that for most of my adult life I considered to be somewhere between fantastical nonsense, vaguely entertaining, and then simply as a way of people learning about archetypes (as if the archetypes are flat, dead, academic, objective things 🙄), not yet ready for the truth that had been waiting for me to trace my steps back to, the truth that Carl Jung speaks of here…
“The starry vault of heaven is in truth the open book of cosmic projection, in which are reflected the mythologems, i.e., the archetypes. In this vision astrology and alchemy, the two classical functionaries of the psychology of the collective unconscious, join hands.”
Jung also once said something like if he had to choose one thing to devote the rest of his life to studying, it would be astrology (he didn’t have to choose, so he immersed himself in astrology as well as all the other ancient wisdom streams that he’s far better known for) - when I saw that, I realised it was the permission and soul nudge to devote myself to the night skies in a way I hadn’t allowed myself to since childhood.
(Because of course, once upon a time, there was an autistic magically-minded, ever curious girl who was utterly obsessed with astrology.)
As I now spend my days and my years weaving between alchemy, astrology, Kabbalah and shamanism, I’m seeing that they always were golden strands of the same numinous tapestry, one that can be seen inwards, outwards, and upwards.
Some prefer to stick to the measurable physical and psychological, foregoing the maps that can show us the way to discovering the Divine that is in everything.
But once we’ve been awakened - and by that I mean: brought to our knees in awe, breathless, with tears streaming down our cheeks - to the vast wisdom of the stars, the ancient aliveness of the fire, the permeating love of our Mother Earth, there’s no way we can keep pretending they’re separate from us and inert.
So when I say ‘astrological chart’, it’s a metaphor or symbol for something far more wondrous and mystical, that I don’t yet have the words for.
“I’m restless. Things are calling me away. My hair is being pulled by the stars again.” Anaïs Nin
If you’re feeling the call (back) to the stars here’s a few of the ways I’m guiding souls with them at the moment:
In our Academy of the Soul, UNIO, we are journeying with the medicine of Humble, guided in part by Chiron, the Wounded Healer, and I’m providing “mind-blowing” Chiron readings for all members.
As part of my upcoming crucible The Rose Quest, I’m providing readings that illuminate the Path of the Temple Priestess, and your unique expression of her gifts and shadows that might show up along the way. To be clear, this quest is not for those simply curious about astrology, it’s the deepest, darkest work that’s only for the rare few women called by their souls to it… I’m sharing this only to show how profoundly precise and helpful our stars can be.
In last week’s podcast, astrologer and depth psychotherapist, Jessica DiRuzza and I go deep into the union of the two traditions. It’s an amazing one!
All my love as you find your way back to your soul, whether it be by star light, candle light, or moonlight.

P.S. You might wonder if I’ve come across Gene Keys or Human Design, yes, I probably could be described as an expert in both, and yet, I’m a first principles devotee, and so going to the deep ancient roots… such as astrology and Kabbalah… is the path for me.
