My daughter, Princess of Questions, asked us over lunch “What skill do you wish you’d learned earlier in life?”
My reply was “Understanding how to work with dreams.”
But really, I meant how to work with and honour the symbols that so are often pearls cast unseen, but once their iridescence is glimpsed in the swill, can illuminate the way to a soul’s path to Spirit.
This morning, we rose in Turkey, sun-blessed place of megalithic mysteries and Ottoman odysseys, and one of the first things I see is pomegranates… Eros-plumped rubies in a basket of rose silk and bird bone.
You can take the girl out of The Rose Quest (for a week’s pause) but you can’t take The Rose Quest out of the girl.
Down, down, down I go… ♥️
