What does it mean to be Mythical? 🌟
By Lian Brook-Tyler
As we (Jonathan, the whole team, and I) journey into the evolution of Be Mythical, we have been deep in conversation and contemplation of those words and what we mean by them.
There’s a shadow of both words that we are called to be conscious of, intimate with and responsible for…
The shadow of ‘Be’ in this context is that it can be held as something we can simply choose, that we can instantly and authentically be anything we want or need to be in any moment, with no reason or benefit to look deep into the darkness and the mystery to see the truth - especially the unwelcome aspects - of our own unique souls.
The shadow of ‘Mythical’ in this context is it can be grandiose, inflated, elitist, bypass the human, glorify heroes and Gods, and dismiss the pain and shame that we are here to experience and journey through.
And the gold of those words?
Much more to come but for now… to Be Mythical is to unite with your soul’s truth and unfold your unique myth, with the magic, humility, permission, blessings, guidance, healing, gnosis, modelling and power held in ancient myths, all in devotion to union to Spirit.
The work for the Be Mythical team - and really for anyone here for The Great Work - is to stand up for what we stand for, and in doing so, be honest and accepting of the shadows so we’re not blinded by the phantasy of the gold.
It’s not always alluring, sexy, glamourous, impressive, ego-stroking work but it is the stuff of myth.
So, if you will… go be mythical.
